Connecting Europe is a project of the European Policy Centre together with Stiftung Mercator. Established in 2017, the project connects civil society organisations with EU decision-makers and provides a platform for dialogue. Connecting Europe gives civil society organisations more visibility in Brussels and enables them to showcase and advocate for their ideas. It further aims to improve the links between national capitals and Brussels, thus fostering discussions of EU policies in a truly European fashion.

At Connecting Europe, we work towards transnationalising EU debates by ensuring a more diverse and inclusive dialogue between Brussels and EU member states. Over the years, the project has grown into a network of 25+ organisations from 13 countries, hence covering a wide array of topics, ranging from climate change, digital transformation, youth and education to rule of law and democracy as well as EU foreign policy.
