Jaan Tonisson Institute
Jaan Tõnisson Institute is a non-governmental organization established in 17th of April 1991. The mission of JTI is to contribute to the development of democracy and to consolidate civic society. The institute is named after Estonian statesman Jaan Tõnisson (1868 – 1941?) as one of the founders of the Republic of Estonia and an important developer of democratic values.
Jaan Tõnisson Institute carries out several projects funded by European Union and participates in international networks.
